Foodgasm Fest

So hi! Weird timing to update but well, i'm wide awake so why not? I'm updating about Foodgasm Fest that i went to a couple of days ago. On Sunday, to be exact. Today's Tuesday (or Wednesday since its already 1 o'clock). I decided to go and invited Zafran since he likes to walk and eat so, he's the perfect candidate. I also invited the girls but they couldn't go. Nirupha decided to tag along as she called me and asked if i was at home, and since i told her i was going to the Foodgasm Fest, she wanted to come with. We took the train all the way to Taman Jaya and walked to the area. Which wasn't so far. 

We met Zaffy at Masjid Jamek and went together from there. The place was packed. The lines were just crazy. There was a massive jam and the amounts of people that took the train were cray. Fortunately for us, the train wasn't that packed and we arrived at the food fest unharmed and in one piece. 

We wanted to check out the food, but the ground was horrid. There was mud everywhere because it rained the day before the event. All three of us tried to walk in the mud but it was just... messy. Oh! But before that, i bumped into Anis, which i didn't expect to see at all. She even told me that Arman was there which i also did not expect. 

So when we were searching for hard ground and a short line, i decided to ring him up so we could meet. So he came by to where we were, which was on the tar road. Its been awhile since i saw him so it was nice to see the penyu. After awhile we bumped into Hariz and his friend. It was so so so so nice to meet them after so so so long. Arman and i parted ways after because he wanted to go and see Mus and Lutfi. And so the 3 of us went to search for food. 

Nirupha and i basically gave up and decided to just walk barefoot in the mud to actually enjoy the stalls and food. Buttttt, we didn't because the lines were still crazy so we gave up and hopped on over to the hose to clean our feet. Which we had to queue up for (around 30 minutes or so). 

I then bumped into Lutfi and we said hi and we chit chatted. We parted ways soon after because he was searching for the boys.

Oh! And i saw the Insomniacks which i'm a fan off and i totally fangirled for Iskandar (ugh that cutie). Anyhow, suddenly i saw Hariz at the back of line and i walked by to him where he was with Mus, Lutfi, and his friend. Hariz then told me that he saw "him" in a sarung/kain pelikat. Aaaand who else would go out with kain pelikat when it wasn't a Friday? The flamingpeanut. But i decided to wait it off and wash my feet first before actually asking where he was. 

Arman came soon after and we decided to take a photo at the food fest banner. And so we did!

Besides taking photos, we didn't really do much. Zaffy got some food, but me and Niru didn't. At all. Soon after we decided to walk back. But i whatsapped Peanut so we could meet up for awhile before i went back. He said he'd come to where we were and so we met soon after. I heard Ina was there and of course, i dragged Peanut accompany me. She was actually there since 11 am and didn't let me know, that girl.

After talking and just catching up for a bit, i decided that I had to get back to the 2 kids i left. So Peanut accompanied me yet again to the place that we met. We talked for awhile and bid our goodbyes soon after.

Anyhow, soon after the 3 of us walked back to the station and entered the train to Nu Sentral because Nirupha wanted to shop. And guess what? I ended up shopping as well. Suprise suprise. But we had a good time either way. 

Ugh i'm in love with this hat from Monki but it was too expensive (120 bucks ok) so rather than crying with an empty bank account, i surrendered. 

ISNT THIS OVERALL DRESS THING ADORABLE? It was so expensive as well, but everything from Monki is expensive but ugh its so cute! 

Zaffy ended up buying something too! Not the blouse in the photo tho. But it was just as fab.

Soon after all the shopping and all was done, we got McD and headed home. I was tired as heck, but it was a good day. Alhamdullilah.

InsyaAllah i'll have more opportunities to go on more adventures and trips soon! 

I have a dermatologist appointment in the morning, and i really hope he can help me cure whatever problem my skin is going through. I'm hoping for the best! Good night!
